Cabinet Refacing in Philadelphia

Get new doors and drawer fronts and a fresh finish on the cabinet boxes. It changes your kitchen's style completely without tearing out cabinets or countertops.

What is refacing?

Keep the boxes, change everything you see

Refacing replaces the parts of your cabinets you see and touch every day, while keeping the cabinet boxes that hold everything up. It's the right choice when your layout works but you're tired of raised-panel, cathedral-arch, or damaged doors.

  • New doors and drawer fronts in Shaker, slab, or beadboard styles
  • Cabinet boxes and face frames painted to match, or covered in veneer
  • New soft-close hinges and drawer slides (optional)
  • New hardware installed and aligned
  • Optional crown molding, light rail, and end panels
Typical Philadelphia kitchen
$8,000 – $18,000

The price depends on the number of doors, the door material, and add-ons like soft-close hinges and molding. That's often half the cost of new cabinets.

Refacing questions

Is refacing cheaper than new cabinets?

Usually yes, often 40–60% less. Refacing also avoids demolition, so your countertops, backsplash, and plumbing stay where they are.

Can you reface thermofoil cabinets?

Yes. Peeling thermofoil doors are one of the most common reasons homeowners choose refacing. We replace the doors and refinish the frames.

Can I add soft-close hinges?

Yes. Soft-close hinges and drawer slides are a popular upgrade during refacing, and we'll include them as an option in your quote.
